Gareth Wyn Jones is the former Head of Classics at Berwyn Secondary School in Bala, and since retiring he has concentrated on his art. Moving away from traditional landscapes he has developed a series of paintings based on Bala Lake and the Aran, using a vibrant palette to convey the ever-changing colours and skies around the lake.
